Linked to leading industry, the NIT offers scholarships for highly motivated and outstanding individuals. When you apply to the NIT you will automatically be considered for a scholarship. In the past, nearly all NIT students received a scholarship.

When applying, please indicate in your Statement of Purpose, as described in the admission procedure, which scholarships you would like to be considered for. Scholarships are granted by global companies such as “Brose”, "Continental", "Lufthansa", "NXP", Siemens" and "ThyssenKrupp" and by small and medium enterprises, the so called "Mittelstand". These "SMEs", many of them in the globalization phase, are the backbone of German industry. Please be sure to check their scholarship offers carefully, too. For information about scholarships on offer only contact the NIT and not the sponsoring companies directly except you are already currently employed at the company. Selection is handled by TUHH and NIT alone.

Förderung

An NIT scholarship (13.500 Euro per year) covers all tuition for the management program, but not accommodation.

For further scholarships to cover personal living expenses you may also contact directly the local office of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German embassy, and the Goethe-Institut in your country or other German fund institutions. Due to application deadlines you must apply for these full scholarships at least already one year in advance.

Student Loans:
Students admitted to a course may also apply for a student bank loan through the NIT to cover the costs of living and tuition. Repayment can commence up to 12 months after the end of the NIT Management Program.
