The BA (Hons) Global Management with pathways degree is carefully structured to offer you an integrated and holistic approach to management studies. It builds your skills across five complementary areas of business practice, after which you follow a specialist pathway.
The Global Marketing Management pathway focuses on every aspect of marketing, from the research phase to the product, from identifying customers to creating a promotional campaign, from sales forecasts to marketing strategy.
We examine marketing from a global perspective - combining theory with practice while keeping a strong customer orientation. You will also develop the knowledge and skills base to have foresight into the further development of the subject.

A market is defined by what individual people need, want or desire. The key to effective marketing and business success is understanding and responding to what your customers tell you. The Global Marketing Management pathway explores contemporary marketing strategy and practice, tapping into the latest developments in the global marketplace.

  • Wide-ranging marketing skills, including the ability to identify marketing objectives within a global market and their impact on business operations

Program Emphasis

You will be asked to indicate your preferred specialist pathway at the point of application. However, you have until the end of Term 3 to change your choice of pathway, should you wish to do so.
In Terms 1-3 you will take the same core classes essential to the Global Business Management degree. These modules focus on the acquisition of broad knowledge, and include classes that relate to all five specialist pathways.
From Term 4 onwards, you will be on your chosen pathway, studying a range of core and specialist modules.
In your final year, in addition to your pathway modules, you will have the choice of a wide range of elective modules.

Gateway programme

In Term 4 there is an opportunity to undertake a period of study abroad.

Work placement option

In Term 5 and 6, you can choose to undertake a work placement*, adding another year to your studies. Such experience offers you the chance to apply your learning in a real work setting and is highly valued by potential future employers.
Our specialist careers advisers will help you in finding a work placement linked to your chosen pathway and support you throughout your placement.
The experience you gain during your placement will feed directly into the Research Project that you complete in the final year of the programme.

*This is a new option which is subject to approval. First placements will take place in 2015. Students undertaking a work placement cannot also participate in the Gateway Programme.

Requirements / Application

  • Students must have a minimum of three passes at GCE A-level at grade C or above, and five passes at GCSE/IGCSE level at grade C or above, including English and Maths. We also accept equivalent qualifications.
  • For those applicants whose mother tongue is not English, we require proof of English ability. This requirement may be waived if the last three years of the student's education were in English.

Regent’s operates a rolling admissions policy and accepts applications year-round. The BA (Hons) Global Management – pathway in Global Marketing Management programme begins in January and September.

Financial Aid

Regent's offers a number of scholarships and bursaries to help with the cost of tuition fees. You can also apply for external loans, sponsorship, or other funding opportunities to help finance your studies.

A scholarship of up to 50% of your tuition fees, awarded to students with strong academic achievements and potential.
