Regent's University London
This BA (Hons) Liberal Studies (International Relations) with Integrated Foundation emphasises the understanding of global issues and world cultures and traces the political, social, ideological and economic history of the world.
The curriculum is designed to enable you to examine and understand the complexities and processes involved in the relationships between institutions of international governance. It is also designed to help you understand the behaviour of states, by studying the structures that make up the international system.
You will explore the dynamics, structural characteristics, humanitarian issues and international political economics operating within the global community. The curriculum is interdisciplinary and you will take classes which examine the complexities of different regions in the world, including international organisations, diplomacy, war and peace, human rights and many more.
The study of international relations will enhance your ability to understand the complexities of the current world. Our degree is designed to enable you to analyse problems in a manner that is theoretically informed and conceptually rigorous, to place current global problems in historical perspective, and to write, speak, and think with clarity and precision.
As globalisation, sustainability, terrorism, and foreign intervention continue to shape our world, this programme intellectually prepares you to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
This programme will offer you an exclusive discounted membership to Chatham House, as well as the opportunity to participate in the Model United Nations.
