Our full-time MBA programme takes place in Rotterdam over the course of 12 months, starting in January 2010. Participants are taught the latest insights across the fundaments of business and management knowledge, and acquire the skills to think critically, creatively and analytically about the most defining issues in global business.
A key goal of the full-time MBA programme is to deliver a behavioural transformation in participants. We have pioneered an intensive year-long course in leadership communication whereby participants are taught through “living management” – an experiential teaching method that places students in real-world business situations, and a method that has been the subject of features in both Business Week and the Financial Times.
The full-time MBA programme has also been widely recognised for its incorporation of social and environmental issues – meeting a demand for research and education that can be seen in major multinationals such as Toyota, Shell, and GE. Participants learn about decision-making in terms of the compatibility of the short- and long-term needs of key stakeholders such as consumers, investors and government policy makers/regulators.
A recent innovation to the MBA programme has been the establishment of a mentoring scheme in which top female executives from major corporations coach small teams of MBA students, with the aim of encouraging more women into leadership roles in international business.
Voraussetzungen / Zulassung
We consider each application on its own merits, but applicants must be able to demonstrate a minimum of two years post-graduate work experience and clear professional targets, a degree from a university or an institute of higher education, together with a recent GMAT score*, and English proficiency. If English is not your mother tongue a TOEFL or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) may be submitted to support your application.
Among our applicants, we look for evidence of professional achievements, a diverse background, the ability to interact and work with people from significantly diverse cultures and backgrounds, leadership potential, communication skills, drive, motivation, maturity, creativity, and self-confidence. At RSM, we also value international exposure and broadmindedness.

*If you hold a Ph.D or a Masters level degree, you may be exempted from the GMAT exam requirement. The MBA Admissions Office reviews this on a case by case basis. Please contact Admissions to see if you may be exempted. The GMAT exam is, however, recommended if your qualifications do not demonstrate strong quantitative skills
RSM Erasmus University has a rolling admissions process. This means that applicants can apply throughout the year and decisions are issued year round.
After an initial selection, candidates with strong credentials will be invited for an admissions interview, conducted by an alumnus, staff member or faculty member, on location if possible, for further evaluation. Motivation, communication and interpersonal skills are assessed during the interview.
Final admissions decisions are made after receipt of the interview comments. In general, the entire review process takes approximately four to six weeks following the receipt of your completed application package.

Karriereaussichten
Our Career Management Centre works proactively with you from the outset of your time at RSM until six months after you leave, to ensure you are successful in your career. The CMC facilitates contact between you and corporations with events, activities and workshops which put you in direct contact with recruiters from multinational companies. You will participate in workshops run by experienced recruiters, and have access to resources, including expert staff, to assist you in researching specific industries and companies to help you make informed decisions. You will also develop your own personal competencies, including developing your own personal brand for the international job market, establishing your mid- to long-term career objectives, and honing your networking, leadership and communication abilities in international business.
