12th Annual Conference for Management Accounting Research (ACMAR)

March 5th – 6th, 2015The Annual Conference for Management Accounting Research (ACMAR) takes place at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, Germany, at the beginning of March each year. The conference attracts researchers and accounting scholars from around the world.
At the conference, participants have the opportunity to present their research in one of the parallel sessions, while they can also find out more about the research projects of colleagues in the field. In addition, the ACMAR provides a friendly and sociable platform for making contacts in management accounting research, instigating joint research projects, and generally keeping in touch.
In addition to the parallel sessions (with and without discussant), our keynote speakers will present their insights into current trends in management accounting practice and research. Previous keynote speakers include Professor Christopher Chapman, Professor Frank Hartmann, Professor Ranjani Krishnan, Professor Kari Lukka, Professor Teemu Malmi, Professor Michal Matějka, Professor Martin Messner, Professor Sven Modell, Professor Dieter Pfaff, Professor Stefan Reichelstein, Professor Marcus Wouters, among others.
The ACMAR Doctoral Colloquium will take place in conjunction with the conference from March 4th-5th, 2015. The Colloquium’s objective is to provide an opportunity for doctoral students in management accounting from various countries to discuss their research and work in progress with an experienced faculty.
