| Accrediting bodies |
 |
 |
| You should always make sure that the business school in question is accredited by an recognized accrediting body. Some business schools are only accredited by their own national accrediting body, while others are accredited internationally. Accreditation acts like a seal of approval for the business school. The accreditation of a business school should ensure a specific minimum standard in academic education. |

 | | The distinctive AACSB (“The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business”) International Seal of Accreditation represents the highest standards achieved by the world's most respected business schools and confirms their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review. It takes between three and seven years for a school to go through the entire AACSB International accreditation process.
AACSB's accreditation maintenance review process
Every five years, AACSB-accredited schools are required to undergo an accreditation maintenance review. The emphasis of this review is on strategic management and continuous improvement within the context of the established mission | | | | |
