This programme recognises that luxury and prestige companies’ top executives need a specific kind of business expertise.
It will equip you to manage leading brands in a highly competitive environment, combining knowledge with an innovative approach and a strong cultural perspective.
You will benefit from industry guest speakers, teaching that is informed by the latest business thinking and consultancy project collaborations with industry.

Why should I choose this programme?
The luxury industry has doubled in size over the past 10 years, reflecting an increasingly global presence. Traditionally a sector associated with Europe, luxury brands are expanding into the markets of the fast-developing BRIC economies.

Key skills, aims and objectives
Through taught classes, projects and contact with industry experts you will develop the knowledge, insights and critical skills to make informed judgements about the strategic and tactical business activities of luxury brands.

Program Emphasis

This is a full-time programme, covering three terms. The programme is composed of modules, each of which carries a specific credit value. You will take eight core modules, plus two further modules of your choice.

You will be able to apply the knowledge and skills you develop on the programme through a final project which is either an academic dissertation or a live consultancy project for a client luxury brand. In both cases you will be able to develop a network of industry contacts that will be invaluable in your future career.

Accreditation

Students starting from September 2013 will begin on Regent's University London validated degree programmes.

This degree is recognised by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Students on this programme are provided with access to CMI resources during their studies, and can apply for membership to the CMI on degree completion.

Requirements / Application

A minimum of a lower-second class (2:2) UK honours undergraduate degree or its international equivalent from a recognised institution. We also accept equivalent qualifications.

For those applicants whose mother tongue is not English, we require proof of English proficiency.

Duration of study

There are two entry points a year in January and September. If you begin your studies in September, it will take approximately 12 months; if you start in January, it will take approximately 16 months.
