To this end, the master’s programme provides future data specialists not only with deep expertise in their field but also with consummate skills for applying it for optimal benefit. By working on projects, they will further develop their knowledge by tackling real-life problems as found in a wide range of applied fields. Our master’s programme emphasises the interdisciplinary nature of data science and covers topics in fields as varied as technology, analytics, design and management. Applied Information and Data Science
The programme is open to anyone with a bachelor’s or master's degree from a university or a university of applied sciences. Applicants are expected to have a pronounced interest in data technologies, an affinity for analytical questions and a strong drive to excel in their field. Applicants must take an English language test and an aptitude test.

Spring semester:

Application deadline for spring semester (starting in 20th February 2024):
September 1, 2023 for applicants requiring a visa. December 1, 2023 for Swiss and EU/EFTA applicants.

Enrolment fee: CHF 250.-
Semester fee: CHF 800.-The studies usually last four semesters, but the period can be extended for up to eight semesters.
