About the division:

Group Audit has over 700 staff globally, located primarily in our four hub locations: New York, London, Frankfurt and Singapore as well as in 26 other countries. The hallmarks of our professional, business focused, risk-based work are independence, integrity and transparency. Essentially, Group Audit provides an independent assessment of the efficacy of the Bank’s control environment.

About the role:

Working on our day-to-day business as well as on special projects, you will need to have an eye for detail, a high level of commitment and a desire to work towards specific goals. You will support the relevant audit manager with audit planning and will begin making an important contribution to the success of audits within a few weeks. Your sphere of responsibility will continually expand and encompass more complex tasks. By collaborating with contacts from across the GA business and stakeholders, you will gain an extensive insight into the working methods within our bank and the challenges faced by different departments.

The specific tasks that you deal with will depend on your role within the team. You will learn from the best, evolve professionally as well as personally, and build a firm foundation upon which to specialise later.

Areas in which you could work:

  • Business aligned teams such as Corporate Bank, Private Bank and Strategy & Change Infrastructure aligned teams such as Technology, Risk, Compliance, Sourcing, Anti-Financial Crime, HR & Global Real Estate, Legal & Regulatory Affairs or Finance
  • Central teams such as Data Analytics or Professional Practices


What we look for:

  • You studied or are studying business administration, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, business mathematics, business law, STEM or a comparable subject?
  • You are interested in finance issues and contexts combined with an affinity for rules and regulations?
  • Your communication skills are strong and your English is fluent?
  • You are a diligent worker, have an eye for detail and stay focused even under pressure?
  • You are a responsible, dedicated individual with excellent problem-solving skills?

To be eligible for the 2025 Graduate Programme you must:

  • Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2024 and 31st July 2025
  • Be able to start full time work in July 2025, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements
  • Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience (excluding internships)
