The Risk division has a fundamental responsibility to protect the Bank. With group-wide responsibility for the management and control of credit, market, operational and reputational risks, we have a unique vantage point which allows us a holistic view of our businesses and our clients. About your role:
Our interns are given the opportunity to learn about our business from different viewpoints. Working on our day-to-day business as well as on special projects you will gain a broad insight into the Risk function. In doing so, you will support the innovative realignment of this dynamic and sensitive area with your ideas. Depending on the field of activity, you will be able to contribute your analytical skills. You will observe market developments, identify risks and their driving forces, calculate potential risk exposure and set risk appetites, develop mathematical models and formulate solutions to mitigate the financial and non-financial risks the bank faces.The specific tasks you will be dealing with depend on the risk area, your role within the team and the duration of your internship. - Are you studying
- either business administration, finance, economics, law or business law (or a related study focus), your expertise best matches the areas of:
- Market Risk Management
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Non-Financial Risk Management
- BHW Risk
- either business administration, finance, economics, law or business law (or a related study focus), your expertise best matches the areas of:
- a STEM subject, particularly mathematics, computer science, natural sciences or technology, your expertise is likely best placed within the quant area of Risk:
- Model Risk Management (model validation)
- Market Risk Management
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Are you passionate about finance and banking?
- Are you proficient in MS Office and other common applications?
- Do you have strong communication skills, are you fluent in English?
- Can you work well in a team and inspire others with your ideas?
- Would you describe yourself as a conscientious, dedicated individual with excellent analytical skills?
