Executives need to keep on top of the game and develop their own talents to effectively lead businesses into the future as digitalization continues to gather steam, whether on the subject of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, or digital currency. Success depends on having an integrative education. You will be equipped for a profession that combines management and digital technology by pursuing the Master in Management and Digital Technology* at TUM Campus Heilbronn. Program Emphasis

Optional specialization in management:

  • Family Enterprise: Digitalization poses particular challenges for family firms. Selecting this specialization offers the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in the area of family-owned and/or family-run businesses. Students acquire interdisciplinary knowledge through modules that incorporate diverse perspectives (e.g., psychological, sociological, economic, and legal) to examine family enterprise behavior.
  • Digital Enterprises: In the area of Digital Enterprises, students acquire management skills in order to be able to introduce digital technologies to the company on a larger scale. This specialization also focuses on new business models and business processes.

Requirements / Application

The minimum requirements for an application to the Master in Management & Digital Technology are:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent (at least 140 ECTS at the time of application) in Management and Technology, Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable program.
  • Successfully completion of various modules.
  • Proof of English language proficiency
  • Additional application via uni-assist if you have not obtained your bachelor degree in the European Union (as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland)
  • Additionally, a GMAT score of at least 640 if you obtained your bachelor degree in the following countries: Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, and Pakistan. The new GMAT Focus edition will also be accepted with a score of at least 585. For more information please click here.   • All applicants, who wish to apply for a degree program at a German university with a Chinese, Indian, or Vietnamese school or university degree need a certificate from the Academic Evaluation Center.
