- All applicants must demonstrate at least two years of professional experience. One year must be proven at the start of the program, and the second year must be proven by graduation.
- Sufficient English language proficiency is required, at a minimum B2 level according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Applicants must show strong motivation, demonstrated through the application form and evaluated during the admission process.
- An admission interview is mandatory to assess eligibility and alignment with the program.
- Applicants may qualify without an undergraduate degree if they have successfully completed a minimum of a two-year, recognized vocational training program in Germany, accompanied by several years of relevant professional experience. This requires passing the ToU IMBA Entrance Exam.
- The vocational training must result in a diploma or degree, typically earned over two or three years, and demonstrate a focus on preparing for a specific trade or professional career. Short-term certifications or one-year training programs do not qualify.
- To graduate with an MBA, learners must achieve a total of 300 ECTS by the end of the program.
- For those with a 180 ECTS bachelor’s degree entering the 90 ECTS IMBA, 30 ECTS will be credited from professional experience.
- In exceptional cases, learners with a 210 ECTS bachelor’s degree entering the 60 ECTS IMBA may have 30 additional ECTS recognized from professional experience, provided they have at least five years of relevant work experience, including leadership experience.
- Professional experience credited as ECTS must be closely related to MBA topics, with a preference for leadership roles. This extra experience must be in addition to the standard two-year professional experience requirement.
- Applicants with higher academic achievements (e.g., a 180 ECTS bachelor’s degree and a 120 ECTS master’s degree) may fulfill the 300 ECTS requirement through their previous studies.
