SDA Bocconi launches an International Executive MBAStarting in January 2008 and building on the experience of the Italian Edition

SDA Bocconi School of Management graduated 165 managers in the first three editions of its two-year Executive MBA, while 125 of them are now attending the fourth and fifth, held in Italian. The blended formula, mixing residential sessions and distance learning, has evolved according to the needs and preferences of the attendees and the experience has been so successful that now the School is launching an International edition of the Executive MBA, taught in English, starting in January 2008. The program is structured around twelve full-time one-week residential sessions every second month, combined with distance-learning activities.

The residential modules will be run in Milan and at UCLA Anderson School of Management (Los Angeles) and in a top Chinese University in Shanghai.

"Our experience with the Italian edition advised us to provide the managers with a tight schedule for the online activities, using fast to download and user-friendly technology." Roberto Donà, the program director said. "The action oriented teaching approach, the global focus and the international exposure are key features of the program." The Executive MBA targets executives and corporate-sponsored professionals, singled out by their companies for fast-lane careers: experienced managers who have demanding jobs and high levels of responsibility.
