‘manager-engineer’ double diploma

Audencia Nantes School of Management and engineering school Ecole Centrale de Nantes have strengthened their partnership by announcing the launch of a ‘manager-engineer’ double diploma.

The initiative, scheduled to begin in September 2008, will see the creation of a management hub to allow certain engineering students from Ecole Centrale to further their business knowledge and skills by spending 18 to 24 months at Audencia. This period will replace the final year of Centrale’s generalist engineering programme.

In exchange, students on the Audencia Master in Management programme will have the option of spending a semester at Centrale Nantes during their final year specialisation period.

While Audencia and Centrale Nantes are innovators in this management hub development, the long term aim is to extend the logic to other engineering schools. In this way, up to 50 engineering students from a range of partner schools would be able to begin their careers with a double diploma, having added Audencia Master in Management to their engineering qualification.
