bild-rechtsThe Faculty of Business Administration and Economics is launching a new English-language Master's program in the winter semester 2025/2026.

The degree programme offers a profound education in business and economics. Building on Bachelor’s degrees in economics and business administration, it teaches further principles in both areas with emphasis on sustainability and innovation.

In-depth knowledge in business, economics and interdisciplinary areas is imparted in the areas of specialization. Seminars can be taken to specialize further. The degree programme may be complemented by practical or international perspectives with an internship or studying abroad.

bild-rechtsThe English-language Master’s programme in Business & Economics enables graduates to perform consulting, planning and management tasks in the economic context in companies, international organizations, government agencies and non-profit organizations.

Graduates are qualified to independently identify economic problems, to select and apply suitable methods for their analysis and solution, to develop scientifically based solutions without assistance and to propose and evaluate alternative actions.

The Master’s programme prepares students for further doctoral studies as well as research activities at universities, research institutes and research departments. Substantial knowledge and skills for teaching in the field of business administration and economics are also imparted.

The programme particularly emphasizes ethical education and incorporates the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative and other aspects of business ethics.
