„European Business Plan of the Year Competition“

On June 14th and 15th SDA Bocconi and Bocconi research center ENTER, in collaboration with Financial Times and Sponsored by the Emmanuel Kaye Foundation and 360 capital partners, will host in Milan the European Business Plan of the Year Competition (EBPYC).

EBPYC was jointly created by INSEAD and London Business School in 1993 to encourage the teaching of entrepreneurship and the creation of new ventures. After ten editions, it became an independent Foundation jointly owned by the participating schools. The foundation is run by a board, consisting of last year’s organizer, the present organizer and next year’s organizer.

Each participating school selects for the competition one business plan for a new business, prepared by a team of 4 current MBA or undergraduate students. “Current” students include those enrolled during the 2006/2007 academic year either on a full or part-time basis. The team from each school presents their business plans to a panel of international judges that decides on the winner.

The schools participating in the EBPYC are
ALBA (Athens Laboratory of Business Administration), Greece
Cranfield School of Management, England
EM Lyon, France
Helsinki School of Economics, Finland
