Life Science Congress 2019

On November 14, TUM Campus Heilbronn in cooperation with Born2Grow and Zukunftsfonds Heilbronn will be hosting the fifth Life Science Congress. This year’s theme is “Digital health: prevention & nutrition”.

Featuring talks and examples of real-life applications, this year’s Life Science Congress will show how digitization is revolutionizing the nutrition and health sectors. Discover innovative approaches to protecting consumers from disease through better nutrition and learn how artificial intelligence can alleviate disease through preventive nutrition. Also on the program is a look at optimized billing systems for health insurers.

The 2019 Life Science Congress offers academics, entrepreneurs, investors and incumbents an exclusive platform to exchange their knowledge and experience.

Speakers from international technology and life science companies will be offering interesting insights into the latest applications and solutions. Guests from the field of research and teaching will address exciting issues such as “Nutrition – the no. 1 risk factor in the burden of disease? How to inform and protect consumers better” (Prof. Dr. Hans Hauner, Director of the Else Kröner-Fresenius-Center for Nutritional Medicine, Klinikum rechts der Isar) and “People and microbes – How microorganisms can influence our health” (Prof. Dr. rer.nat. Dirk Haller, Head of the Chair of Nutrition and Immunology, TUM Weihenstephan Campus). Leading regional companies such as Optima pharma, based in Schwäbisch Hall, and selected startups will also be contributing to the event, ensuring a wide spectrum of viewpoints.

The Congress will be hosted by the Technical University of Munich at its Heilbronn Campus, in cooperation with Born2Grow and Zukunftsfonds Heilbronn and supported by the Dieter Schwarz Foundation.
