With its time structure, its contents, and its flexibility, the Mannheim Executive MBA is perfectly adapted to the individual needs of experienced professionals and executives. Within 18 months, participants - who have an average of more than twelve years of work experience after the completion of their first academic degree and who have top positions within a wide range of industries and functional areas – receive the final finish for their careers both professionally and personally. This is due to a holistic program concept, whose components are optimally tuned to one another.
The program is based on the further development of professional and methodical competencies in all important management disciplines – with a practical orientation and always from a leadership perspective. A large number of elective modules offer the opportunity for broadening knowledge of a specific subject area or learning more about currents issues and trends (e.g. digitalization, innovation or crisis management). Other fixed parts of the curriculum are three stays at renowned partner institutions abroad (North America, Asia, and Europe), a Social Class Project, and a comprehensive Strategic Business Project. An extensive training offer that circles around the area of leadership - including an outdoor seminar among others - the regular Personal Development Days, and the focus on teamwork (including team coaching) are further pillars of the program.
An essential asset of the Mannheim Executive MBA is its sustainable approach: Mannheim Business School remains a central contact for participants – even after completion of the program – when it comes to further professional and personal development. During the first three years after graduation, participants are welcome to participate in the Personal Development Days and elective modules of the program.

Requirements / Application
- A first academic degree
- At least 8 years of work experience
- Significant professional experience, including disciplinary and/or budgetary responsibilities
