Internship Pathways in Data Analytics: A DDS Alumni Perspective

An internship is a key stepping stone toward your professional career. It allows you to apply the knowledge gained during your studies in a real-world setting, gain hands-on experience, and build valuable industry connections.
As part of the M.Sc. Data Analytics & Decision Science (DDS) program, a 14-week internship is fully integrated into the curriculum, giving students the opportunity to prepare strategically for their future careers.
In this session, DDS alumnus Jullien will share his internship journey at Geotab. He was introduced to the company through a company visit organized by RWTH Business School’s Career Service, which ultimately led to his internship placement. Following his graduation, Jullien successfully secured a full-time position at Geotab and continues to work there today as a Solutions Engineer.
During this online session, Jullien will provide practical insights into finding the right internship, leveraging networking opportunities, and making the most of the Career Service offerings. He will also share his personal experiences and lessons learned along the way.
