Join us for an online trial lecture with Prof. Dr. Lucas Böttcher, Academic Director of the MSc AI and Data Science programme.
After decades of interdisciplinary research on artificial neural networks, advances in computing power and software have made artificial intelligence a central part of modern science and industry, an impact recently highlighted by Nobel Prizes in Physics and Chemistry. In this lecture, Prof. Böttcher will give an overview of both the foundations and recent developments in AI, with a focus on large language models, diffusion models, and neural networks for protein structure prediction. He will also discuss how large language models can be evaluated in practice.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience what it is like to study a Master’s programme in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Frankfurt School.
