Wichtige Informationen zu Eignungstest GMAT.

Webseite

GMAT Exam Scoring

After you take the GMAT exam, you will receive four scores for the four sections Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, Verbal, and a Total Score. The overall result consists of the result of the mathematical (quantitative) and linguistic (verbal) part and is reported on a uniform scale of 200 to 800 (“Total Scaled Score”) and frequently also in percentages from 1 to 99 (“Total Percentile”).
The preliminary result appears to the student immediately after termination of the test, the official report form with the results achieved in all sections will be sent about two weeks later. After that the score is transmitted on request by the Examination Institute to the universities, where a test taker has applied.
You may take the GMAT as often as you like, the earliest 31 days atfer the respective last attempt, if you’re not satisfied with the result you achieved. However test fees will be charged each time.

Test results are saved for five years and the last five GMAT scores are sent to business schools. It may happen that a business school gives preference to a person who gets a good score the first time over a large number of other applicants with comparable GMAT scores. However, it is still advisable to prepare the best you can, so you can get the score you want on the first try.
