You want to experience how firms in crisis can be turned around? You are curious how in the real-world considerations regarding strategic management, digital transformation, and corporate finance play hand-in-hand? If you are a current bachelor’s student or a recent graduate in Business or Economics, then this is your call to apply for our HHL Finance Case Challenge | Cologne powered by Struktur Management Partner (SMP) where we put you in the shoes of turnaround practitioners.
Our corporate partner SMP invites you to their Cologne office where you will find yourself in the middle of a turnaround project team assigned to the task of rescuing a firm in crisis. Your team will be mentored and challenged by experts from SMP while analyzing the firm in crisis, identifying short- as well as long-term improvement measures and preparing a pitch to the capital providers. After your pitch discussion with our jury, we will come together for dinner and drinks to conclude the event.
In preparation of the Finance Case Challenge, HHL’s faculty is going to provide an on-demand mini-lecture to introduce you to the topic and equip you with useful tools to master the challenge.
Your profile
- You are a current bachelor’s student or a recent graduate in Business, Economics, or alike.
- You have above-average grades and/or some first relevant practical experiences.
- You have a passion for finance and strategy, and some very first insights into the world of finance
- You are up for a challenge and ready to tackle it with a team of other highly motivated peers.
