Requirements / Application
Applicants with a university entrance qualification are eligible for admission, such as Matura, Abitur, relevant university entrance examinations, or a professional qualification examination.
Final Certificate
At the time of application, the final school-leaving certificate does not yet need to be submitted. In the event of admission, it can be provided later. The application must, however, include the most recent annual report card available.

German Fachhochschulreife
The German Fachhochschulreife is not recognized as a university entrance qualification in Austria. Applicants with this qualification are therefore required to take the prescribed additional examinations (more information can be found under “Application for a Bachelor’s Degree without a University Entrance Qualification”).

Relevant Professional Qualification with Additional Examinations
Applicants with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., apprenticeship, technical college, or master craftsman qualification, German Fachhochschulreife, etc.) may be admitted if they complete additional examinations at MCI. These include:
- Social and economic sciences programs: German, English, Mathematics
- Technical programs: German, English, Mathematics, Physics (and possibly Chemistry)
Application for a Master’s Program
Admission to a master’s program requires the completion of a relevant bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent qualification) at a recognized, accredited higher education institution.

The MCI Career Portal is an exclusive digital platform featuring several hundred up-to-date postings for internships, part-time jobs, junior and senior positions, trainee programs, and thesis topics from MCI’s extensive network of corporate partners. Students and alumni can easily log in and filter opportunities according to their individual preferences.
MCI Recruiting Forum
The Recruiting Forum connects MCI students and young professionals with companies, offering the ideal platform for introductions, networking, and career opportunities. Held annually, the event gives students and recent graduates the chance to meet potential future employers and learn more about (inter)national and regional companies across various industries.
In addition to digital company presentations and practical career services, the focus is on direct interaction and dialogue with corporate representatives.
